“Therefore, if your whole body is full of light, and no part of it dark, it will be just as full of light as when a lamp shines its light on you…” (Luke 11:36)

There are lots different ways of making a diagnosis by face features, handwriting, iris colours, voice and etc. Whether we want it or not, but we radiate information about ourselves into the world.

Most likely, the richest informational stream of that kind is our creativity – all what we create in a free flight of our fantasy. For example, there are some well-known methods of diagnostics of mental conditions through drawing. The color range of a picture may tell you about a level of anxiety as well as sizes of objects and their composition, about the degree of importance of these objects for an artist. Sport & dance instructors are familiar with a problem of overcoming stiffness of their pupils’ movements – achievement of plasticity & harmony of gestures often assume freeing from some internal complexes.

Studying our own creativity, self-diagnostics, may give us a lot for self-development. Really great authors’ creativity never stays at one point – creative changes go along with personal changes. Before starting a new project, we often advised to ask yourself – “Why this theme thrills me so much? How is it connected with my internal world?” Choosing a theme might look random sometimes, but more careful analysis often reveals some reasons behind. You cannot create anything not having some internal force pushing forward your creative process.

Your poems, drawings, dances are a battle field of all what bother you, your unsolved conflicts. If you don’t create anything, these conflicts inevitably find a way out on some physiological level as an illness. To publish your work or not is another question, but creating anything new flying in your fantasy is very important for your health and your personal development.
